Our Team

Doug Damon:  I have been a CPA for over 30 years.  I have been lucky to have experience in both large and small public accounting firms.  I also have spent two years as an accounting instructor (Portland State) ; and, have been a national instructor of continuing education to CPAs.  My primary area of  expertise is in income taxation and related areas of finance and business management.

I began this firm in 1994 when I left the Reno office of Ernst & Young.  I am very lucky to have the best clients in the world and so blessed to have a wonderful life partner Theresa who somehow puts up with me.  Click for Bio of Doug

Theresa Damon: Theresa's role in this company is by far the most complex.  She is a key performer in every aspect of service we provide.  A graduate of University of Nevada, Reno her formal training is not in accounting but her skill in these areas is extremely strong.  She works in all major compliance and back office activities.  She is the lead manager of many key client relationships.  She also manages most firm administrative duties.  Her encouragement and support are the glue that keeps us rolling!

Al Pierce & Diana Pierce:  Diana Pierce specializes in client back office activities with many years of back office experience.  Among Diana's key roles is the coordination of all services provided to The Prospectors Inc.  Al Pierce, a retired IBM executive does anything we ask and he does it a lot better than any of us.  He assists with tax compliance, digital storage and retention; and, back office activities.

Brigid Pierce:  Without Brigid our practice would not be here today.  Brigid, a CPA and an extremely busy person became our first employee.  She came to our aid as we began to grow and her willingness to assist us in any project we gave her kept us afloat.  Today Brigid's role has been reduced while she continues her many other activities, including serving as President of Casa de Vida and Catholic Community Services of No. Nevada, yet she is still finds time to coordinate all back office services for a key client relationship and is always willing to help at a moment's notice.

Casey Damon: Casey's role is limited these days as she pursues her own career in Portland, Oregon.  She still assists us when she can and often plays a key role during the holidays.
